Life Motto

I seem to get inspiration for things to think about in my life from movies lately. My latest thought is the idea of having a life motto - inspired by the idea that Domino Harvey’s life motto in the movie ‘Domino’ is :

Heads you live, Tails you die

According to the dictionary, motto is defined as :
1. A brief statement used to express a principle, goal, or ideal. See Synonyms at saying.
2. A sentence, phrase, or word of appropriate character inscribed on or attached to an object.
3. A maxim adopted as a guide to one's conduct.

So I’ve been thinking, what should I choose my life motto to be?

What is flirting and how do you know whether or not you are doing it?

Apparently I’m an unconscious flirt. I was planning to go to Mooseheads with a couple of friends two Thursdays ago at dinner and I made the suggestion that one of us could try flirting with the bartender in an effort to score cheap drinks. When one of them suggested that I should be the one to do it, I replied that I had no idea how to do it - really, I don’t. It was then that Sean stated that I kinda flirted with him, which came to me as a real shock. His example, was the fact that I’d complimented him on the way he was dressed and how he’d styled his hair that day.

Now here’s the thing. I’m the type of person who compliments people when I like the way they look - simply because I think they look good. It appears that what I think is being friendly by complimenting someone, can be interpreted by the receiver as flirting.

So here’s the thought. What exactly is flirting? And, how do we know where the line is drawn between flirting and being really friendly?
